Bí Ẩn Làng Michuri, Village Survival, The Eight: Michuri (2018)

Village Survival, The Eight (VietSub) is a Korean variety show that aired on SBS from November 6 to December 21, 2018. The second season aired from February 15 to March 22, 2019. In the show, eight celebrities are given clues and 24 hours to solve a mystery in the fictional village of Michuri, with Yoo Jae-suk as the village leader. The prize is worth 10 million yen. The first season was filmed in Cheongun-myeon, Yangpyeong County, Gyeonggi Province, while the second season was filmed in Seo-myeon, Seocheon County, Nam Chungcheong Province. Each filming session lasts for 2 days and 1 night.

During team games, the cast members receive additional clue items. They can also search the village using these clues before preparing meals (lunch and dinner) and at the end of the first day. The actors are not allowed to steal clue items from each other, and doing so will result in elimination from the show. If a cast member finds money, they must inform Yoo Jae-suk before the end of the program.

In the first season, if a cast member finds money, they have the option to either keep 10 million yen or proceed to the next round to try and earn 20 million yen. If the majority of the cast decides to keep the 10 million yen, they will vote for the person they believe took the money. If the majority votes correctly, the 10 million yen will be returned to the production team (or used for charity if it is the season finale). If the majority fails to vote for the correct person, the member who found the money gets to keep it. If a cast member decides to proceed to the next round with the money, they will decide on a new hiding spot for the money. The other members must search for the money in a new location while the member hiding the money tries to prevent others from finding it. If no one finds the money, a vote will be held to determine who they believe hid the money. Success will result in the cast member denying the money, while failure allows the cast member to keep the 20 million yen. If someone else finds the money, the previous hider will receive nothing. The cast members will then vote to determine who took the money in that round.
